Bramley Village Fete Coffee

We are so lucky to get invited to some lovely events. When we were approached to be the first coffee provider at the Bramley Village Fete in Surrey we jumped at the chance. It was one of our few empty days and we love a village fete, especially in this beautiful area. We trundled down in the SIKA T25 Volkswagen mobile coffee van  (our firm favourite) with slight reservations about the unusually sunny weather for England. Coffee is generally popular whatever the weather – it’s only when it’s hot sunshine that sales can alter and we can be jealously admiring the queues for the ice cream van. BUT we were prepared, with plenty of cold drinks and some of our speciality brownies, we managed to start the day off well refreshing the other stall holders and event organisers. Then, despite the weather we had a steady stream of punters after flat whites and cortados. We had lots of compliments and everyone seemed to really appreciate a ‘proper coffee’. I must say our latte art was flowing freely………With plenty of other stallholders including books, antiques, pocket-money stalls, beautiful dog grooming delights, and lots of food and booze, it seems like the villagers of Bramley were entertained well – and the children too!

Thank you for the hospitality, we enjoyed a very relaxing and sunny day which was extremely well organised. Hats of to the team for donating their time and energy to make it such  a success.
